A second wavelength (1064 nm) reaches deeper to treat larger vessels, including facial veins and deeper redness.
The laser energy is selectively absorbed by the targeted blood vessel or pigment, causing it to heat, collapse and be naturally reabsorbed by the body over time.
Because Excel V+ treats the visible vessels and pigment directly—not just the skin’s surface—it helps improve redness, vascular concerns and unwanted pigment for clearer, more even-looking skin.
What to Expect After Treatment
What you experience after Excel V+ will depend on the concern being treated. Redness, warmth and mild swelling are common and typically settle over the following hours to days. Treated vessels may temporarily appear darker or more noticeable before gradually fading, while treated pigmentation may darken before naturally flaking or fading.
